  • Tesla Browser is a fast and simple web browser based on Chromium making it just as secure and stable.

  • Warning. Disabling auto-updates is not recommended. You may not receive the latest security updates if you do not update automatically.

To disable auto-updates, you need to go to the Custom installation section, during the browser installation process and uncheck the box - Allow browser auto update.

If the browser installation was completed with auto-update enabled, then you can disable it later in the following way:

    • Open the standard Windows Task Manager
    • Go to the Startup section, find the name "TeslaBrowserUpdater" in the list
    • Right-click in the Status column and click Disabled in the context menu.

To enable auto-updates again, you need to repeat the previous steps and select the status of the name "TeslaBrowserUpdater" - Enabled in the context menu. As an alternative, you can go to the official website and download the most current version of the browser and install it on your PC.
